Haobin Fang, Ph.D.

Postdoc

Haobin Fang graduated from Sun Yat-Sen University with his doctor's degree of physical chemistry. He joined Liu’s lab as a postdoctoral fellow in 2022. Now he focuses on the synthesis and application of single atomic catalysts. Since joining the group, he has first authored 1 AFM paper

Heshan Qi

Ph.D. Student

Heshan graduated from Nanjing University with his master's degree in MSE. He joined Liu's lab as a PhD student and is interested in degradation of pollutants and water harvesting from the air. Since joining the group, he has first authored 1 manuscript, which is currently under revision with Nature Water

Rui Li

Ph.D. Student

Rui Li graduated from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) with a bachelor's degree in 2021, majored in Environmental Science and Engineering (Elite Class). She is interested in AOPs. Since joining the group, she first authored 1 manuscript which is being reviewed by ES&T in 2025

Qi Hao

Ph.D. Student

Qi Hao is currently a PhD candidate at Liu Lab. He received his M.S. degree at Jilin Unibersity. His research interest focuses on electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction. Since joining the group, he has first authored 1 AM, 1 NC papers. 1 manuscript is being reviewed by AEM in 2025

Ph.D. Student

Xiao Liu graduated from Nantong University with a Bachelor in environmental Science. He got his master degree from Changzhou University in environmental engineering. His main research interests focused on the designing of environmental functional materials. Since joining the group, he has first authored 1 AFM paper

Linxuan graduated from Northwest A&F University with his master's degree in 2022. After graduation, he joined Liu's lab as a PhD student. Now he is interested in pollution remediation and focus on electrochemical synthesis of ammonia. Since joining the group, he has first authored 1 ACB paper

Zhiyuan graduated from Zhejiang University of Technology in 2023. He has joined Waterlab as a Ph.D. student. Now he is interested in environmental catalysis. Since joining the group, he has first authored 1 manuscript which is current being revised with ES&T in 2025
